1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Evvents Africa ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Evvents Africa provides an online platform that connects event organizers with attendees, facilitating event discovery, ticket sales, event management, and related services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Event Listings and Ticket Sales

4.1 Event Organizers

Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event information, pricing, and fulfillment of services. Organizers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4.2 Ticket Purchases

All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated. Refunds are subject to the event organizer's refund policy. We are not responsible for event cancellations, postponements, or changes made by organizers.

5. Payment Terms

  • All prices are displayed in the currency specified by the event organizer
  • Payment processing is handled by secure third-party payment providers
  • A booking fee may be applied to ticket purchases
  • Additional processing fees may be applied by payment providers
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
  • Resell or transfer tickets in violation of event policies
  • Use automated systems to access the Platform without permission

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Evvents Africa and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evvents Africa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Evvents Africa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
